My passion for design began at a very young age. I’ve always loved beautiful things and recognized the impact a space has on how we think and feel. My love for antiques blossomed in my childhood home and the home of my grandmother. They both left an imprint of the world of design at an early age with many memories of shopping excursions for fabric, antiques, furniture, and more. My enthusiasm for design grew under the mentorship of a close family friend and interior designer who truly took me under her wings and instilled a vision for how to bring each element of design together into a portrait of function and beauty. I knew an interior architecture degree was my next pursuit. I received my bachelors in fine arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in their interior architecture program. In 2021, after 7 years of experience in the design field, I knew it was time to start August Interiors.
